Dear Families,

If your child brings in a snack or packed lunch from home, you may at some point receive a reminder slip, sent home with your child, explaining one of three things. These are:

1. Your child’s snack/packed lunch box included food that contained/may have contained NUTS. 
2. Your child had a packed lunch that we did not believe encouraged a healthy, balanced diet.
3. Your child had a snack at morning breaktime that did not follow our ‘Healthy Foods Policy’.

Slips are sent, to remind families that our school aims to:

1. be as 'nut free' as possible, to support our children with nut allergies
2. support families in providing a healthy, balanced diet for their children
3. ensure our Healthy Foods policy is being followed
