Dear Families,
It saddens me to tell you that Miss Usher, our current Year 6 class teacher, will be leaving Coopersale at the end of this term. Miss Usher has been with us for several years now, since the start of her teaching career in fact. She will be dearly missed by our staff and pupil community. We would like to say a very big thank you to her for the impact she has had on our community. Please speak to your child today when they get home as they may be upset with this news.

Mrs Gardiner, currently the class teacher for our bulge Year 2 class, will be taking over from January, as our Year 6 teacher for the remainder of the year.

From January, our Year 2 bulge class will be led by two very experienced teachers, Mrs Marsh (Mondays to Wednesdays) and Mrs Whellams (Thursdays and Fridays). Both have worked across our school as cover teachers. Although only three pupils are currently registered to our bulge class, Mrs Marsh and Mrs Whellams will continue to lead interventions to support pupils in our other Year 2 class as well – the same system that has been in place for Mrs Gardiner this term. Therefore, across Year 2, we will see a change to the teaching team but not on the systems in place.

To finish with some great news regarding Miss Usher, we would like to congratulate her on getting married last weekend. It really is a big year for Miss Usher.
