Snacks for Years 3, 4, 5 and 610 July 2024 (by admin) |
Dear Key Stage 2 Parents/Carers,
We are seeing a growing number of children coming into school without having eaten breakfast. In addition to this, some do not have a healthy morning snack brought in from home that they can eat during morning break time.
Our fruit scheme only gives us enough to hand out to Reception and Key Stage One children. If you child is in Years 3 to 6, a snack needs to be provided for from home. This must be a healthy option (please see our food policy for guidance if needed).
We strongly encourage all Key Stage 2 parents to check with their child if they are eating a breakfast and bringing in a healthy snack, if they are feeling hungry before lunchtime.
With kind regards,
Coopersale and Theydon Garnon C.E. Primary School
