Dear Reception class families,
Thank you to those of you that attended the phonics meeting last week. For those of you that couldn't make it, we hope you have managed to look through the phonics pack that was sent home in your child's book bag. You can also find lots of phonics support on our school website.
We mentioned in the meeting how we have 'Reception phonics flash cards' for sale for use at home. These packs are £6 each, and if you wish to purchase some, they can be found on your Parent Mail account as an item.
These packs include all of the sounds that we teach children in Reception, which they then learn to blend together to read words and to ultimately be able to read fluently. If you have not yet purchased these cards but would like to do so, please pay via Parent Mail by Friday 22nd November and we will order them in for you.
